We are Rare. We’re experts in property and design, and together we have over 40 years of experience within the housing, property, and construction sector. We love what we do and it shows, both in the quality of our work and in the outcomes we achieve for our clients.
Starting as a small group of individual experts who connected over a shared passion, believed in the same values, and had an unparalleled collection of knowledge and experience, we combined our skills and niches to create a leading property and design service. We are people-orientated, powered by creativity, and our ethical mindset keeps us values-led, authentic and uniquely placed to offer true quality.
We are passionate about home and buildings, and from planning and design to party wall matters, and building pathology and surveying through to projects and consultancy, we’re here to help.

Our Experience
Each of us are individually decorated with qualifications, accreditations and professional memberships that hold us to the highest of standards. Complementing this is our decades of practical experience, which span the breadth of the property, construction and housing industry. These include years of award-winning practice in the commercial, private and social housing sub-sectors at operational, strategic and Board level, including for G15 housing associations.Our Architectural Consultants and Chartered Building Surveyors are all accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Institute of Fire Safety Managers, and hold an Honours Degree in Building Surveying, and decades of practical experience. Our AutoCAD qualified Designers collectively have thousands of hours of experience in drawing, planning and design, and our Project Director is certified in Sketch Up and studied Interior Design at University of Arts in London.Our Party Wall Services are delivered exclusively by our Chartered Building Surveyors (RICS), who have decades of experience in Party Wall matters.Our Consultants and Project Managers have experience in running multi-million-pound projects of varying complexity, including the NHS, Police, Hotels and social sector clients, as well as build projects, business redesign and corporate strategy.Our award-winning Project Director holds associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and the Faculty of Public Health, and comes with 15 years of in-sector experience.Our seamless blend of experience, knowledge and technical skill, mixed with our ethos and passion, makes us the best at what we do.
